School Reopen

2020-11-21T13:17:59+10:30

Dear Parents and Caregivers, The Premier yesterday announced that schools and preschools, will reopen to all students on Monday 23 November. As a result our school, including the ELC will be open and operating as normal. We will not be offering an alternative home-based program. As the Chief Public Health Officer said, just because the hard lockdown is being lifted does not mean that the risks associated with COVID-19 have passed. As a result we will minimise the number of people coming and going from our site. Wherever possible, please drop and collect your child at the gate and [...]

School Closed

2020-11-18T23:09:44+10:30

School Closed Dear Parents and Caregivers, Due to the recent outbreak of COVID19, and the advice I have received from appropriate authorities, Crossways Lutheran School, including the ELC will be closed indefinitely. This means do not bring your children to school until further notice. This is a very unfortunate turn of events but we must be vigilant in doing what is expected of all of us. God's blessings to you all. Regards, Tony Peters, Principal

Student-Led Conference - Term 2 Thank you to the many families who were able to attend the Student-Led Conference held at the conclusion of last term. If you did attend the conference, you would have received your child’s Progress Report which were available following the conference. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress further, please contact your child’s classroom teacher to make a suitable time to meet. Those of [...]

2019-04-08T01:30:03+09:30

Early learning centre gets thumbs up The Ceduna community had the opportunity to tour Crossways Lutheran School's new early learning centre at the official opening on Friday. The $450,000 centre was the brainchild of former school principal Francois Pienaar and has been well received by children, staff and families. The facility includes an indoor and outdoor space, with the indoor area allowing children to undertake a number of activities and a nature play area and other play activities outdoors. Current Crossways principal Craig Kupke welcomed all in attendance and also read a speech from Mr Pienaar, [...]

Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) has opened

2019-02-17T00:17:37+10:30

Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) has opened. We are so excited to be in our new space and are so blessed with what we have here. We began on Wednesday and it was fantastic to see the children use the space. The outdoor play area was particularly popular and the children loved exploring the pump, mud kitchen and slide area. We did lots of different things over the 2 days- have a look at the pictures to see what we got up to! I can’t for Week 2 and see what kinds of things we get up to. Mrs. [...]
